Training for Media and Crisis Communication
In response to requests from members and the Government's renewed emphasis on encouraging headteachers to ensure they are fully prepared for managing critical incidents, we are offering media and crisis communication training to keys2marketing members at 15% below the rate usually charged, as follows:
£1400.00 for a half day, or £2250.00 for a full day training for up to 3 participants. We recommend that the training takes place in school. Please note that the course is tailored to the specific needs of the participants, with the details below offering a broad guide.
| The training covers both the theory and practice of press and broadcast interviews and will prepare participants to: |
Set their own agenda |
Develop key messages |
Get the right messages across |
Handle questions with confidence |
Bridge from questions to key messages |
Use positive non-verbal communication |
Participants take part in mock press and broadcast interviews. Performances are recorded on videotape or computer memory sticks and played back. The trainer then analyses the performance and gives feedback on how to improve techniques.
